What better way to start a new blog than to start with a congratulatory celebration? In December (okay, I know it’s March, I’ve been busy), my presentation partner and I received a nice check and letter from the president of NC TIES. NC TIES is North Carolina Technology In Education Society who presents a conference every March.

Kim and I were being recognized for having the most popular session at the 2008 NC TIES conference. WOW! Talk about surprised!

We presented 3 sessions at that conference, but we both think it was the Digital Photos, Now What? session that won us this recognition. We had folks sitting on the floor! It always makes you feel wonderful knowing that there are people who are interested in what you have to say.

Our other 2 sessions were Web 2.0 and Wiki This Way. If you are interested in our sessions, we have a wiki – webwizards.wikispaces.com. Feel free to use any of the information that we have on our site. Don’t reinvent the wheel!

The NC TIES conference is this coming week. Kim is presenting on her own this time. I am going to be an observing attendee for the first time in a long time. I look forward to hearing what someone else has to say!

Until next time ~ Danita
