Google Docs question
I haven’t used my blog in this manner before, but hey, there’s always a first time, right? I have a teacher that wants to let the kids collaborate simultaneously on a spreadsheet. I suggested Google Docs, but found out that you must have an email to register. Our kids have Gaggle, but aren’t allowed outside emails. Suggestions??
I made a bogus account and will share the log in with the teacher, but I’m not sure that all the kids will be able to access it at one time.
Anyone else run into this dilemma? What did you do? Surely, I’m missing a major link, but for the life of me, I can’t find it.
Thanks!
Until next time ~ Danita

Hi Danita
Our classroom uses one gmail account (for example room18@gmail.com) then as a student needs an email account to sign up for something on the web we just use room18+thestudent’s name (for example: room18+bob@gmail.com) All emails (including any with + ) get sent to the original email address which I control. Students don’t even get involved with the process of the email account. We’ve used it for almost a year now and have had no problems with it. We haven’t experienced much spam either.
