Stupendous Saturday
We don’t have enough of these super Saturdays do we? All is right in the world. The weather here in North Carolina is absolutely beautiful! In the low 80’s an no humidity.
Hubby is off to Greensboro to coach his AWANA team, so I have the house all to myself, except for the 130 lb St. Bernard that thinks she’s a lapdog and the 40lb (yes, I said 40) Cocker Spaniel who thinks she’s a guard dog.
I found a new video site that is similar to YouTube that I think hope the dynamic duo tech team will white list for our district. TeacherTube seems to be the answer to my video prayers. I spent most of Friday night and early Saturday morning sending emails to everyone whose videos I had marked in my favorites in YouTube. Vicki Davis and Beth Kanter both responded quickly. Vicki even gave me a shout out in her blog – woohoo! I told you this was a Stupendous Saturday.

Check out TeacherTube and add your educational videos. If we move together as a community, we can get this great site up and running. I promise I have no affiliation with the site, just a self-serving interest for my teachers.
Now, that I’ve done my duty and helped spread the word, I’m off for a nap before hubby comes home and the house is no longer quiet
Until next time ~ Danita

This is Adam Smith co-founder of TeacherTube along with my brother, Jason Smith and Jodie his wife. Our vision for TeacherTube is to create a community for educators, parents and students through blogging and obviously video uploading. My brother and his wife have been in education for over 14 years and I am, what my brother calls me, the “Tech Guru” of the site. You can tell that I’m the younger brother. I have a degree in Aerospace Studies from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and currently a Project Engineer for a construction company that builds schools in Dallas.
We appreciate everyones imput to make this site better for “You” the user, educator, parent or student. If you have any questions, feel free to email me anytime. adam@teachertube.com
