Tastes like chicken

The crow that I’m eating that is. We did have a snow day today – for the kids, but the teachers had to be there on time. So, is that suggesting our safety isn’t as important as the kids?!?!? But, at 1:00 we were told we needed to be out of the building by 1:30. It was a bit nasty outside with the rain and the slush. So, as usual, the higher ups and paid betters made the right decision. Thus, the reason I’m not one of the higher ups or the paid betters.

I love the snow, but can do without the ice. Hubby took a few pictures this morning. He’s from Atlanta and any bit of snow or ice we get he’s as excited as a little boy. I love it.

I was supposed to attend a discussion workshop on teacher working conditions today. My friend, Kim at swimming in the river, is a Kenan Fellow and she invited me to go with her. But, because of the weather, our county and Wake County being closed we decided it was better not to go. Maybe the next time. Probably good for me. I am prone to give you my opinion if you ask. Could be dangerous territory.

Here are a couple of pics that hubby took this morning.
