Civilization

There are many things in life that I am thankful for, but high speed Internet is near the top of my list right now. I just returned from spending time at my in-laws in Atlanta, Georgia. I love my in-laws, but they are on dial-up – ’nuff said.

We spent 2 hours trying to download a program that should have taken about 5 minutes. I couldn’t even check my Gmail. Boy, sure makes you thankful for the small things in life.

On a more serious note, I am very thankful for my family, my health, my friends, and my job. I have been blessed beyond measure. I pray that everyone that I come into contact with had a wonderful Christmas, Hanukkah, or whatever holiday you celebrated.

Until next time ~ Danita
